About Your Coach
Hi, I’m Robert James, OCD and anxiety coach, psychology graduate, and someone
who’s personally walked the path of recovery. I’ve spent years coaching clients
through intrusive thoughts, compulsions, doubt, and fear, not just with techniques,
but with honesty, compassion, and practical guidance rooted in experience.
This program is built from everything I’ve learned: from proven techniques, from
clients, and from the lived reality of OCD. My approach is grounded in acceptance,
values, and real-life change, not perfection. You don’t need to fix every thought to
live well. You just need the right tools, and the willingness to start.

What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t work?
That’s more common than you might think. Many people come to this program after feeling frustrated or misunderstood in therapy, especially when OCD hasn’t been properly recognized or addressed. Break Free from OCD is different. It offers practical tools, structure, and guidance that speak directly to the patterns that keep OCD going. You’ll learn how to respond to intrusive thoughts and compulsions in a way that creates lasting change, at your own pace, with support when you need it.
How is this different from traditional therapy?
This isn’t therapy, it’s coaching, education, and action. The program gives you a structured roadmap based on evidence-backed strategies, real-world experience, and practical tools you can apply right away. It’s also personal. I’ve been through OCD myself, and I’ve coached hundreds of people who’ve felt stuck, overwhelmed, or hopeless. This program helps you get unstuck, not just by talking about OCD, but by giving you the tools to take your life back.
Is this program right for me?
This program may be a good fit if you want structured weekly work, personalised guidance and practical support applying the method.
What happens between coaching sessions?
Between sessions, you’ll work through that week’s video lesson and workbook and practise the relevant exercises in everyday life. Your next coaching session is then used to review what happened, work through obstacles and adapt the next steps to your situation.
